Wrap it up

Dress to impress…unfold yourself

This fashion trend is a classic one! It flatters your waste and also it creates stylish layers. The piece is one for summer/spring indeed and is favorable to choose in a print or color. The wrap pieces have been popular in the floral print or with stripes. You can also go more basic with a white one or a wrap piece in a light blue/white stripes style.

Gingham style is for sure one big spring trend

For spring/summer 2017, the pattern has more of an adult appeal and has been injected with a serious dose of cool. Cut in contemporary silhouettes like ruched mid-length dresses, asymmetric crop tops and boxy round-neck blouses, it really has seen a coming of age.

Summer prints

Fashionable fabrics and unique designs

This summer’s prints are all about contrasting textiles and patterns which can be used in a symmetrical way. Two other prints that have drawn the attention of fashionistas around the globe are theartwork print and the graphic/geometric print. I’m guessing it’s not that bad to literally wear famous paintings on your clothes, transforming them into fashion masterpieces and increasing their value. Gingham, polka, ethnic, animal, stripe prints. Fusion fashion for memorable stylish statements.

The “picnic” wear

This Spring join the Gingham style

From Brigitte Bardot and Jane Fonda to the Paris Fashion Week. This trend has something of a 60s vintage style, which we love to see and include in our wardrobe. Despite a certain retro appeal, the pattern enjoyed a major revival on the Spring runways. Michael Kors, Diane Von Furserburg, Oscar de la Renta, and Joseph Altazurra, are some of the followers that re-introduced this trend to us. Trend, of course, is a silly word for a fabric that always manages to find its place in our wardrobe, but perhaps it’s just getting a little louder now. Consider Oscar de la Renta’s lady-that-lunches oversized gingham, or Atuzarra’s woman that power suits to the office and slips into a slinky cocktail number right after.
