Enter the Sumo Lunge, Kirsch’s number one workout move for a J.Lo-status booty. Here’s a breakdown, straight from Kirsch himself:

Start with your legs slightly wider than hip-width apart.

Lift your right leg from the knee and move it in a circular roundhouse.

Land out to the side, wider than you started, and immediately squat down, channeling a real sumo wrestler.

As you come out of the squat, lift your right leg and kick out, leading with your heel.

Do 15 to 20 reps without stopping, for two to three sets.

There are a little bit out there, but they are new and the interest us, since when we decide to workout, we select something that intrigue us. Aerial Yoga is not new, but has already a lot of followers. The same happens for hot yoga, which is ultra effective. But among these fringe workouts, some of them — whether they’ve been around forever and weren’t considered exercise, or are brand spanking new versions of a tried-and-true gym trend — are legit, and gaining more and more popularity. Pole dancing, Aqua cycling, Surfing and Trampoline .

Pole Dancing: The uniquely designed exercises focus on lower and upper body muscle groups, as well as creating core stability

Aqua cycling: It’s actually an insanely good workout (can be compared to the one using the top rated weighted vest). The water causes you work at a higher intensity and burn fat faster, it also keeps from causing any micro-trauma to your muscle.

Surfing: You work out on a real surfboard, which is propped up on and lashed to buoys, so every move involves an extra balance challenge that keeps your core working for the entire 45 minutes.

Trampoline: You can feel your abs lock into place after just a few jumps

Aerial Yoga: You have to stay zen while hanging upside down, that’s kinda difficult but for sure when the class comes to an end, you are going to leave having a big smile.
