Pre fall revealing
Alexander McQueen’s artistic designs
With all the pre-fall 2015 collections being revealed of late, it would be a sin to put the Alexander McQueen fashion house’s artistic designs on a side bender. The Alexander McQueen pre-fall 2015 collection is all about the dresses, in mini and midi heights, with long sleeved and belted waists. There’s a certain touch of men’s wear there as well, with military details, while you also see dark green, heavy felt jacks with high necks and epaulets. Inspirations have been taken from riding tailcoats and the dresses are supple, featherweight, with lots of leather and ruffles on the elbow sleeves and hems. We’ve got something out of a Victorian lookbook it seems, with lace trims and hand-pleated bell sleeves, as well as tulle panels with velvet blooms.
