Capturing designer gowns #5

Femme fatale elegante!

Every women wants a red- carpet moment and she does deserve it. For some of us, that moment is our marriage. There are women who constantly try to seek the opportunity to get a selfie by wearing something unique and dazzling. Remember, you have to own what you wear, or else there is no difference than wearing you jumpsuit. As you see there is more than predictable strapless mermaid gowns, for this Fall.  Designers including Nina Ricci’s Peter Copping, Mary Katrantzou, and Givenchy’s Riccardo Tisci spiced things up with long dresses that were subtly (or not so subtly) sheer. They almost looked like tattoos on the body. See through rocks the gowns and shows the best of your body, giving a hint of skin, so that your sexuality will come to the surface.

Jean-ious looks for the fall #3

She is a maniac..with jeans

Besides chocolate, jeans are the second thing that women and men stay in the same page! It’s a fact that if you try to find a wardrobe without jeans, you will never do. We are addicted in denim, despite our age and our sex. Why is that? Just think all the times that someone called and you had to be there in 10 minuted looking casual and chic at the same time and not sloppy ( that would be if you decided to go with your jumps). It’s an all day experience witch will put you on the fashion map if you decide to take your look to the next step. For this fall and winter the jeans still are boyfriend frienldy, but they spice it up. Distressed, moto and patchwork are the new it jeans…take a look and make it work.

Layering in necklaces #6

Put your necklaces into layers

Pin up your plain t-shirt, with an interesting move. Buy different kind of necklaces, or pendants, simple, fancier, with pearls, diamonds or crystals and start putting them in layers. I find it to be one of the hardest fashion skills to master, so in a somewhat self-motivated move, If you struggle with the skill as well, scroll to check out a breakdown of the components of five well-executed layered looks and everything you need to replicate your favorite combination. Take a look of the looks…they are chic, stylish and inspire us…!

Inspirational pattern mix #2

Print it up!

Mix it and try to find your perfect matches, so you will lanch a unique look. Large shapes, blury patterns, vivid color inspirations. Don’t over do it though. It’s easy to become from a fashion it girl…to a fashion not girl.  Dries Van Noten mashed up trippy, op art motifs; Marc by Marc Jacobs revved our engines with BMX-inspired graphics; and the Kenzo and Proenza Schouler teams featured frenetic patterns that pulsed like electronic dance music. Feel free to rave on.

Knitting factory #3

Knitted fashion couture

From sweaters, to dresses, from coats to knitted details that drive you creazy. Shoes, handbags, gloves…have a new style for this Fall and Winter. Knitwear claimes to be one of the trend for this season and we believe it. Trust us, though, these weren’t your run-of-the-mill sweaters. Ashley and Mary-Kate Olsen raised the bar with The Row’s prodigious cowl-neck top and skirt; Michael Kors whipped up fisherman’s cardigans with matching nubby scarves; and Phoebe Philo accessorized Céline’s ribbed looks with luxe mink muffs.

Style tip: Join it with leather!

The colors for this Fall #4

fashion-colors-for-Winter-types

Color fusion for the Fall

The bitter Polar Vortex that barreled through New York fashion week was enough to get anyone down. Good thing that designers packed the runways with such unexpected, vibrant hues. Joseph Altuzarra’s wrap coat ushered in pink and green as the color combination of the season, a look that gained momentum in Paris at Dior and Balenciaga. Purple, fuchsia, maroon, cobalt, emerald…the colors that blend in with our fall outfits.

10 classic fragrances 4 men #6

image

Men’s hot signature scents

“Men often judge fragrances like they do with cars”, strong words spoken by perfumer Azzi Glasser. They try to find the scent, that will esstablish there personality and there way of thinking and living. That’s why the search for a perfume that will be strong, sophisticated and classic, so they can rely on it. The following information are stictly addressed to men who are perfume junkies..and dig people smelling them (LOL).

Christina Dior Eau Sauvage (since 1966) for those who want crisp and clear elegance.

D’Hermes Terre, it is one of top 3 fragrances of this decade and my personal favorite. It captured the trend and it is exactly what you want from man.

Green Irish tweed is a wonderfully constructed and sophisticated fragrance.

Aramis classic since 1964 is intencely masculine, timeless and popular to women.

Guerlain Vetiver is deliciously woody with spices, tobacco and a citrus zing.

Aqua di parma colonia, since 1916 has Sicilian citrus fruits, that’s why it gives away a floral and herby scent which matures on the skin and gives a warm smell.

Old spice is the emitome of masculinity.

Boss bottled is indicated by its soft sensual vanilla note, deep masculine woody base note and the crisp juicy apple note.

Penhaligon’s blenheim boutique, since 1902, has a timeless and bracing blend with citrus and wood.

Finally a loved one. Aqua Di Gio. It’s a perfect fragrance for every man and they really appreciate it as a gift. It has our love because of it’s unique bitter sweet aquatic accord, which gives us a marine freshness.

Beard, is it in or out? #1

BEARDMEN

The aggressive-masculan look seems to loose it’s influence on men

Earlier this year the BBC reported on Australian scientists who found that as facial hair grows more common it gets less attractive, and the clean-shaven look becomes more desirable to potential mates. So, what to do now if you still want to us that fancy shaving scuttle and sport a cool beard that took months to grow without looking too passé? One option is to keep your beard but avoid the gold-rusher or d’Artagnan look and keep the facial hair shorter and nicely groomed.
